Zulu Strikes GOLD
You haven't heard from me lately - I've been REALLY BUSY! I spend roughly a week each month in PNG with client NCS - travelling all over the country!! I am very thrilled to announce - that in the last two months - my hard work and persistence - has led to a couple of really exciting developments in Zulu's world.
ZULU 's New Client - LIHIR GOLD LIMITED - PNG :
I am VERY proud to announce that my new client is Goldmine developer - Lihir Gold Limited - LGL. I have been asked to take on board the conceptualisation and development of a very special project for LGL - focused on - THE PEOPLE.
ZULU's TEAM - Meet the AMAZONS:
Lee Mcallistair has joined Zulu as Senior Project Manager and Megan Archbold has been working with Zulu on Graphic Design! My new team, The Amazons, have been working with me on the NCS and LGL projects! Having a solid team of smart and savy creative women working with me now adds the additional WOMAN power and strength to What Zulu can do for YOU!
This is my first REAL team in 7 years of going SOLO in business!! How excitement!
Why Amazons? Well - quite simply put - both Lee and Megan are 6'2", blond and tower over me! I think Zulu and the Amazons is a great name for a band actually - but for now - it's my team!! Ok - now you all want to see photos..............keep your eye out for next newsletter where I will tell you more about Lee and Megan and will show you some of the show stopping work we've achieved in PNG.
Sue Liu's on Leave
Today is Thursday - and the eve of my much needed Annual Leave. I will take 18 days of R& R in Japan - leaving tomorrow (27 March) and returning on Tuesday 14 April. You can still email me on zulu@zulucommunications.com.au - of course - I will be checking!!
Until next newsletter - HAPPY EASTER - and LUKIM YU!

Lukim Yu Behind
Firstly appologies to all you Pidgin speakers about my sign-off last newsletter. Lukim is the shortened version of "See you later". The correct term is Lukim Yu Behind. Sweet huh?
IS PNG SAFE? Many people are concerned for my personal wellbeing and safety travelling and working in PNG. I have to say that your concerns are well grounded and warranted. PNG is not the easiest or safest of places to be. Yet I assure you that I am very well cared for by my Client and my team wherever I go. Safety is INSTINCT.
Having just said that - I did come back with injuries this trip - but not as you'd imagine. I also had half of the flight from Lae to Port Moresby "Lukim my behind" as I slipped off the second last step off the plane - landing on my handbag, laptop and left leg - on the tarmac of Port Moresby airport. Embarrasing - HELL YES! Painful - SO-SO.
My ankle was quickly elevated and iced and the result is only bruising - leg AND ego. However I can't be that concerned because I've just told the whole world and it becomes another Sue Liu Adventure Story!! And the moral to the story is................ don't wear inappropriate footware and lose concentration when exiting an aircraft onto tarmac.
The laptop and handbag are fine - thanks for asking.
